Steadfast Free Recruitment Service (FRS)

According to a recent study (Resourcing and Talent Planning Survey 2017, CIPD in partnership with Hays), the median cost for filing a non-managerial vacancy in the UK is £2,000. However, through Steadfast Training’s commercially and publicly funded workforce and business support programmes, we can provide a recruitment service that is both professional, bespoke and entirely free – saving employers and jobseekers time and money.

Our FRS is designed to help people get the skills and experience they need to find and sustain employment – whether it is their first job or they return to work. It also helps employers find the right people to fill their vacancies and to support the induction of new staff through pre- and in work training, mentoring/coaching and peer support.

How it works

Our Employer Engagement Executives (EEE) will work closely with employers to understand a business, their workforce and culture and what they are looking for in new recruits. We screen and select the right candidates from a pool of individuals and match their skills and experience to the specific recruitment needs of a business. The jobseekers who we work with are engaged through our delivery of the Adult Education Budget, direct DWP contracts and our partnership work with a range of referral agencies, including DWP primes, such as Reed in Partnership, the Shaw Trust, the Prince’s Trust, Big Lottery and ESF lead contractors and their supply chains, as well as Local Authorities, Housing Associations and the wider voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.

All individuals undergo a thorough in-depth assessment of their skills, including functional skills (English and Maths), their individual learning styles and any additional support requirements they may have to help them secure and sustain employment.

A personalised learning plan will include specific functional and vocational pre-employment training to ensure they are equipped with the skills to start work. Our EEEs match the right candidate for a vacancy and prepare them for specific interview, so they meet employers fully motivated and ready to impress. If successful at the interview stage, we support candidates and employers throughout the induction process and keep in touch with both through those important first weeks, up to three months, while employees settle into their new team.

Healthcare Homes Reach the Finish Line

18 months ago Steadfast Training Ltd started a new programme for Healthcare Homes called Healthcare Assistant Practitioner. This is a bespoke programme written by Healthcare Homes and Steadfast to upskill existing staff, to give them the skills to assist the nurses in 1st line nursing duties, such as blood pressure, catheter care etc.

Our Grand Opening!

Steadfast Training Ltd is pleased to officially open our new Head Office and Training Centre at Enterprise Way Spalding. The 7,500 sq ft site was acquired in May 2018 and has undergone extensive renovation and refurbishment, creating a 1st class working environment that is mainly open plan, with modern hot-desking facilities for field based teams and large training rooms to support short course skills and Apprenticeship delivery.
