Steadfast Training is a Prime Contractor for the Skills Support for the Workforce programme in New Anglia. Along with 7 other providers (to support a wide range of business sectors) the aim of the project is to support businesses and employees, including those affected by redundancies, through the delivery of skills training which is Fully Funded.
The SSR service provides information, advice and guidance to companies and individuals, based in Norfolk & Suffolk, affected by redundancy and offers the opportunity for staff – and those already made redundant – to re-skill and help them to find new employment or prepare for a new career after redundancy.
Together with partner organisation MENTA, Steadfast will deliver the Employment Service under the ‘Work Well Suffolk’ (WWS) project, which is managed by Suffolk County Council and part-funded through the European Social Fund.
Steadfast Training is part of a new project called ‘Target Apprenticeships’ that is aiming to build careers and benefit businesses. Led by the College of West Anglia, the project will encourage the uptake of apprentices and number of apprenticeships being offered across the geographical area of the former Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Local Area Enterprise.
