At Steadfast Training, we’re looking for passionate, qualified Assessors to deliver Production Chef Level 2 and the Senior Production Chef Level 3 apprenticeships.
As a Steadfast Business Trainer you will be responsible for effective planning, managing and delivery, using appropriate teaching, learning and assessment methods to support apprenticeship learners who are studying Production Chef Level 2 and the Senior Production Chef Level 3 qualifications. We’re seeking a trainer who is looking to create lasting positive impacts.
You will be based in Nottinghamshire and required to travel to visit learners in their workplaces.
Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Must hold strong occupational competency as a Chef, (e.g., Head Chef; Sous Chef; Chef de Partie).
- Assessor Award (D32/33 or A1/2) or willingness to achieve within a set timeframe
- Hold a recognised Teaching Qualification – PTLLS or above.
- Have a good understanding and the ability to deliver apprenticeship programmes.
- Have a good understanding of Health and Safety, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, Safeguarding, and Prevent.
- Must have experience of food preparation, cooking and finishing across a substantial range of fresh and seasonal dishes e.g. fresh fish, meat, sauces, pastry, bread etc.
- Experience of working Front of House at Team Leader level or above.
- Must be IT literate.
- Must be confident to support learners Maths and English Functional Skills.
- Full driving licence.
- Must be flexible with travel.
- Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience in catering and hospitality as a Chef

As a successful Ofsted Grade 2 provider and member of the Chartered Institution of Further Education, we are currently recruiting an Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver qualifications in Business & Management due to growth.
Ideal candidates will be able to deliver Level 2 to Level 5 in Business Qualifications, including Associate Project Management Level 4 & Operations Manager Level 5.
As a Steadfast Business Trainer you will be responsible for effective planning, managing and delivery, using appropriate teaching, learning and assessment methods to support apprenticeship learners who are studying Business and Management qualifications. We’re seeking trainers who create lasting change.
You will be based in the East/West Midlands and required to travel to visit learners in their workplaces.
Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Holds an Assessors Qualification- CAVA, D32, D33, A1 or TAQA.
- Hold a recognised Teaching Qualification – PTLLS or above.
- Hold Functional skills/ key skills qualifications in English, Maths or willing to work towards them.
- Have a good understanding and the ability to deliver apprenticeship programmes.
- Have a good understanding of Health and Safety, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, Safeguarding, and Prevent.
- You will have a Full UK Driving Licence and own transport initially. (Use of Company Vehicle upon completion of Probation period)
- Applicants will ideally live in the East/West Midlands area.
We would like to talk to you if you have:
- A recognised assessor qualification (e.g. CAVA , D32, D33, A1 or TAQA)
- Experience of delivering business apprenticeships.
- Experience of working in a management position.
- A creative and flexible approach to deliver apprenticeship qualifications.
- Excellent people skills and the ability to engage with learners and managers.
