At Steadfast Training, we’re looking for passionate, qualified Assessors to deliver Production Chef Level 2 and the Senior Production Chef Level 3 apprenticeships
As a Steadfast Business Trainer you will be responsible for effective planning, managing and delivery, using appropriate teaching, learning and assessment methods to support apprenticeship learners who are studying Production Chef Level 2 and the Senior Production Chef Level 3 qualifications. We’re seeking a trainer who is looking to create lasting positive impacts.
You will be based in Nottinghamshire and required to travel to visit learners in their workplaces.
Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Must hold strong occupational competency as a Chef, (e.g., Head Chef; Sous Chef; Chef de Partie).
- Assessor Award (D32/33 or A1/2) or willingness to achieve within a set timeframe
- Hold a recognised Teaching Qualification – PTLLS or above.
- Have a good understanding and the ability to deliver apprenticeship programmes.
- Have a good understanding of Health and Safety, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, Safeguarding, and Prevent.
- Must have experience of food preparation, cooking and finishing across a substantial range of fresh and seasonal dishes e.g. fresh fish, meat, sauces, pastry, bread etc.
- Experience of working Front of House at Team Leader level or above.
- Must be IT literate.
- Must be confident to support learners Maths and English Functional Skills.
- Full driving licence.
- Must be flexible with travel.
- Minimum of 3 years’ industry experience in catering and hospitality as a Chef
- Applicants will ideally live in the Nottinghamshire area.

Steadfast Training Ltd, a successful Ofsted Grade 2 provider and member of the Chartered Institution of Further Education, is currently recruiting Assessors/Trainers to deliver qualifications in Health /Adult Care up to Level 5.
As an Adult Care Assessor you will help shape careers, build futures and support apprenticeship learners who are studying up to Level 5 in Adult Care. You will be required to travel to visit learners in their workplaces in surrounding areas of Cambridgeshire, a full driving license is essential.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience required to carry out the role;
- Hold Assessors Qualification- D32,D33, A1 or TAQA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with industry standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of learners’ skills whilst supporting continuous improvement within our organisation. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about education, quality assurance, and workforce development.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate training sessions to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks and organisational policies.
- Provide constructive feedback to trainers and learners to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, observations, and learner progress in line with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and mentor tutors.
- Support the organisation’s quality assurance processes through regular audits and reviews.
- Support the Centre Manager to develop and maintain training resources
- Keep up-to-date with sector developments, qualification requirements, and best practices in employability training.
Skills
- Proven experience in quality assuring within the employability or related sectors.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear guidance and constructive feedback.
- Organised with meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance and maintain high standards of quality assurance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for individuals committed to fostering learner success through rigorous quality assurance practices while supporting organisational growth within the employability sector.
