Available Roles

Steadfast Training Ltd, a successful Ofsted Grade 2 provider and member of the Chartered Institution of Further Education, is currently recruiting Assessors/Trainers to deliver qualifications in Clinical Care.

As a Clinical Assessor you will support apprenticeship learners who are studying up to Level 5 in Healthcare. You will be required to travel to visit learners in their workplaces in Norfolk and surrounding areas, a full driving license is essential.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience required to carry out the role;

  • Hold Assessors Qualification- D32,D33, A1 or TAQA.
  • Hold a recognised Teaching Qualification – PTLLS or above.
  • Hold Functional skills/ key skills qualifications in English, Maths or willing to work towards them.
  • Full registration with the NMC/HCPC (as appropriate) and continuous professional development maintained
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience within a clinical setting
  • Have a good understanding and the ability to deliver apprenticeship programmes.
  • Have a good understanding of Health and Safety, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Safeguarding, and Prevent.
  • You will have a Full UK Driving Licence and own transport initially (Company Vehicle will be provided following probationary period)

As part of the Restart programme, a new Government initiative to support unemployed people into work, we are working with employers, job centres, local authorities and other partners to deliver tailored support for individuals across South Lincolnshire. To strengthen and grow our team of professional employment coaches and recruitment specialist, Steadfast Training are now looking for a committed team player, who can drive the work we do with local businesses and to help bring positive change to people’s lives.

Overall Purpose of the Job:

Be responsible for partnering with employers in multiple sectors, assessing their workforce development needs and developing strategies to enhance employer labour market demands.

Working directly with job seekers and connect them to existing employment and develop opportunities based on participant and employer needs.

Developing new relationships with employers in a variety of industries is key to success in this role. You will advise employers on recruitment approaches and techniques required to support participants to secure work e.g. personality-based interviews, work trials.

Working in partnership with other specialists, you will also be able to advise employers of specialist support or adjustments that may be required for a participant.

By maintaining a good understanding of the local/regional labour market and employer needs, you will be able to inform the operational delivery of required sector-specific skill training.

Qualifications/ Knowledge

  • Educated post 18 preferably, with qualifications in business studies/sales advantageous. Significant relevant experience considered equally valuable.
  • The successful applicant should have experience of business engagement, commercial sales and the adult skills sector.
  • Ability to teach and assess Employability sessions with experience of further vocational and/or functional skills (English, Maths, ICT) delivery an advantage.

Skills/ Abilities

  • Commercial awareness and experience of working within a Business-to-Business sales role, ideally within the welfare to work, skills and workforce development sector.
  • Proven experience of negotiating and achieving outcomes.
  • Pro-active approach. Results driven. High levels of personal motivation, energy and determination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiating, marketing and networking skills – able to influence and persuade.
  • Good Telephone skills. Ability to build strong relationships remotely.
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Strong personal organisation, but also willing to be flexible and adapt to changing demands.
  • Personal integrity and a proven team player.

Experience

  • Relevant commercial sales or personnel experience beneficial and preferable.
  • The job holder will require an Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS (formerly known as CRB check, this will be paid for by Steadfast Training)
